How we collect, use, and protect your information

1. Who we are

Arihant Fabrics is a woven fabric sourcing partner and wholesaler based in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. We have been operating since 1997.

When this policy refers to “we”, “us”, or “our”, it means Arihant Fabrics.

2. What information we collect

We collect personal information only when you voluntarily contact us through a form on this website. The fields in our contact form are:

  • Your name
  • Your company name (optional)
  • Your phone number
  • Your email address (optional)
  • The type of fabric you are enquiring about
  • Your required quantity (optional)
  • A description of your requirement

If you send an enquiry from your Enquiry List, the form asks for your name, company name (optional), phone number, email address (optional) and anything else you’d like to tell us (optional). We also receive the designs you listed (Design No. and name) and any quantities you entered.

We do not use cookies, tracking scripts, analytics tools, or any third-party data collection services on this website. Your Enquiry List is saved only in your own browser — see “Your Enquiry List” below.

We don’t track you or build profiles of your browsing. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses, for security and maintenance. When you send an enquiry through a form, our server also keeps a scrambled code derived from your connection’s IP address for one hour, only to prevent spam. It is not kept in readable form and is deleted automatically.

Your Enquiry List

When you add designs to your Enquiry List, the list is saved only in your own browser, on your device. It is not sent to us until you choose to send an enquiry, and it is not used for tracking. It is cleared automatically after 30 days without changes, and you can clear it at any time using “Clear list”.

3. Why we collect it

We collect this information for one purpose only: to respond to your fabric sourcing enquiry. We use your contact details to get back to you with a relevant response, and your fabric requirement details to understand what you need.

We do not use your information for marketing, newsletters, or any purpose other than responding to your specific enquiry.

The short-lived spam-prevention code described in section 2 is used only to limit repeated submissions.

4. How we store and protect it

Your enquiry is sent to our email inbox at info@arihantfabrics.com via our server. Our website server and our email are both hosted by Hostinger in India. We do not store form submissions in a database.

Once your enquiry is received by email, it is handled like any business correspondence. We keep enquiry emails for up to 3 years after our last contact with you, and then delete them, unless we need to keep them longer for an ongoing business relationship or a legal requirement.

We take reasonable precautions to protect our email account and server. However, no method of electronic transmission is 100% secure.

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal information with any third party, ever. Your enquiry details are seen only by the people at Arihant Fabrics who handle sourcing enquiries.

If you choose to contact us on WhatsApp — including sending your Enquiry List through WhatsApp — your message is sent through WhatsApp, which is operated by Meta. WhatsApp’s own privacy policy applies to that message, and it may be processed outside India.

The other third-party service linked from this website is Google Maps (for our office location). If you click the Google Maps link, you leave our website and Google’s own privacy policy applies.

6. Your rights

You have the right to:

  • Ask us what personal information we hold about you
  • Ask us to correct inaccurate information
  • Ask us to delete your information
  • Withdraw any consent you have given

To exercise any of these rights, email us at info@arihantfabrics.com. We will respond within 30 days.

7. International visitors

Our website is accessible globally. If you are based in the European Union or European Economic Area, you have additional rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The legal basis for processing your data is your consent — you voluntarily submitted the form. For the short-lived spam-prevention code described in section 2, we rely on our legitimate interest in keeping this website secure and free of spam. We do not transfer your data outside India except as described in section 5 above.

8. Children

Our website and services are intended for businesses and professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy if our practices change. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
